About Me

I am a mother to two beautiful children and wife to a busy student. My love of photography stemmed from my mother: she always had a camera with her and took hundreds of pictures. She bought me my first camera when I was 5 years old - a pink Barbie play camera. I practiced my first shots on my little Pomeranian named Danny and my grandparents. Maybe I'll be able to find those pictures one day! My next best camera came about when I turned 12. The megapixels were so low (but so great for the time), but like my mom, I carried that camera with me everywhere. I especially loved to take pictures of places we'd visit on our weekly road-trips. Now, my photography habits have not changed much, but my camera has greatly improved and I now shoot with a Sony DSLR camera.
